Previous Site:
Just steps from Pete Mathews Coliseum, situated between JSU's soccer and tennis venues, is the on-campus home of Gamecock track and field. Used primarily now as a practice venue, the Gamecock Track and Field Complex is equipped with proper training areas for throws (caged and open field), long and triple jump pits, high jump and pole vault setups.
The team now holds all home meets for track and field, as well as cross country, at the recently constructed Choccolocco Park facility just 20 minutes down the road in Oxford. The park's track and field venue jumped into collegiate competition hosting the 2017 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Championships. The facility features an eight-lane rubberized track built to NCAA regulations, locker rooms, grandstands, restrooms, storage facility, and sports medicine room.
