JSU Baseball Rained Out vs Eastern Kentucky on Friday

Due to heavy rains that moved through the Jacksonville State University campus, the Jacksonville State vs Eastern Kentucky baseball game has been rained out on Friday and the two teams will play two nine-inning games on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m.
Jacksonville State (26-21, 14-10 OVC) currently is two games out of second place, just behind Tennessee Tech, while Eastern Kentucky (22-26, 11-13) is in a three-way tie for sixth place in the league.
Junior right-hander Zachary Fowler (5-5, 3.74 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Gamecocks, while Eastern Kentucky is expected to throw left-hander Tanner Perkins (3-7, 4.20) in the series opener.
The 13 seniors on the JSU baseball team will be recognized prior to the start of the first game in honor of their final regular-season OVC home series at Rudy Abbott Field. The seniors include Casey Antley, Stephen Bartlett, Andrew Bishop, Michael Bishop, Griff Gordon, Cal Lambert, Michael Mason, Eddie Mora-Loera, Adam Polk, Bradley Raulston, Hunter Rivers, Taylor Shields and Taylor Sparks.
