JACKSONVILLE—The top-ranked Jax State bowling team has signed three players to join the Gamecocks next season. Coach
Shannon O'Keefe signed three current or future members of Junior Team USA to the Class of 2025 in Gianna Brandolino, Eliana Occhino, and Kaitlyn Stull.
"We couldn't be more excited for these three young ladies to join our family," said O'Keefe. "Not only do they bring tremendous amounts of experience and talent, but they are equally incredible people that come from amazing families, that will most certainly help us continue building what we've started at Jax State."
Brandolino joins the team from Minooka High School in Minooka, Ill. and is a two-time member of Junior Team USA. She was the gold medalist in the 2023 Pan Am Games and the Junior Gold Champion that year as well. Brandolino has won 20 Elite Youth Tour titles, 13 SYC titles, and five PBA Junior titles.
Occhino comes to Jax State from Syracuse, N.Y. and has a 4.0 grade point average at Christian Brothers Academy. She's posted a sanctioned high score of 300 and an 804 series. In 2023, Occhino was the Girls Pepsi Champion, USA Today High School Bowler of the Year, and a PWBA US Open qualifier. Additionally, Occhino was the U18 all events and doubles champion at the 2024 Youth Open Championships, and the 2024 Elite Youth Tour Champion for New York. Occhino will be a member of Junior Team USA in 2025.
Stull comes from Crossroads FLEX High School in Cary, N.C. and has won three PBA Junior regional titles and was the 2023 PBA Junior National Champion. She is a 2024 member of Junior Team USA and will be on the team again in 2025. Stull has won 13 Tough Shots Tour titles and was the 2024 PWBA Mooresville Regional champion.
The Gamecocks have won both of their tournaments this season and will be on the road this weekend in Howell, N.J. for the Garden State Classic hosted by Monmouth.
