CLEVELAND – For the second-straight year in the league, Jax State athletics finished with the second highest score among Conference USA peers in the final Learfield Directors' Cup standings.
In a year that saw the Gamecocks claim their first FBS conference championship, Jax State tallied 115 total Directors' Cup points to rank 141st overall among the more than 300 Division I schools.
Since the 1993-94 season, the Directors' Cup and final standings have been awarded based on a scoring structure rewarding in-season and final season accomplishments and poll rankings. The final tally includes 19 sport scores, with several schools not registering points in every sport.
The 141st final ranking is the third-best finish for the Gamecocks over the last decade, behind 2015-16 (124th) and last year's 123rd finish during the school's CUSA debut. For the 2024-25 final standings, Jax State trailed only the state's two Southeastern Conference foes, leading mid-major rivals South Alabama (186), Troy (197) and Samford (226).
