Women’s Cross Country Earned CUSA Sport Academic Award

DALLAS – The Jacksonville State University Women's Cross Country team earned the CUSA Sport Academic Award following a season where they managed a 3.8 team GPA. The Gamecocks placed sixth in the CUSA Championship and 23^rd in the NCAA South Region this season.

The Sport Academic Award is given to the team in each conference-sponsored sport with the highest GPA for the academic year.

The Jax State Women's Cross Country team featured six perfect 4.0 GPA's and all 15 athletes with a 3.0 GPA or higher in the spring.
