Bowling Posts No. 1 GPA in the Nation

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas—Jax State had its entire roster named to the National Tenpin Coaches Association All-Academic Scholar Athletes list and posted the best team GPA in the country for the 2025-26 season.
A total of 405 student-athletes from 68 programs were recognized as All-Academic Scholar-Athletes, maintaining a minimum 3.4 GPA during the season.
The Gamecocks posted a 3.876 GPA, edging out Maryland Eastern Shore for the top spot. Six of the eight bowlers carried a 4.0 GPA. Jax State was the only program in the top five of the academic rankings to also make the NCAA Tournament.
During the 2025-26 season, the Gamecocks won six of their eight regular season tournaments, the Conference USA Championship, USBC Sectional, NCAA Lansing Regional, NCAA National Championship, and USBC National Championship.
