JSU CAREER
2022-23:
Played in 23 games for Jax State as a senior...averaged 21.2 minutes per game...ended up with 6.9 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest...was second on the team with 44 assists and added 13 steals and six blocks...shot 38.3% from the field and 76.4% from the free throw line...posted career-highs with 18 points at Queens on Feb. 4 and eight rebounds against Eastern Kentucky on Feb. 11...added two blocks at Chattanooga on Dec. 29, setting a new career best...scored in double figures in five games.

2021-22: Appeared in all 32 games and made 30 starts...averaged 8.3 points per game and led the Gamecocks with 3.3 assists per game...posted a 2.1 assist-to-turnover ratio on the year which ranked in the top-five in the ASUN...led JSU's point guard efforts and helped limit turnovers to just 12.1 per game, the second-best mark in the ASUN...shot 32.2 percent from three-point range and was fifth in the league with a 78.2 percent mark from the charity stripe. 

2020-21: Played in 23 games off the bench for the Gamecocks during her sophomore campaign…averaged 16.3 minutes per game…averaged 4.8 points per game and 2.1 assists per game as the backup point guard…second on the team in steals with 18 and averaged 0.8 per game…scored a career-high 16 points on the road against Morehead State on six made field goals….dished out a career-high seven assists against EKU at home and recorded four steals against the Colonels in back-to-back games.

2019-20: Made her collegiate debut in JSU’s season-opener at Vanderbilt reaching double figures in her first appearance with 11 points...she would later match that mark at Eastern Illinois when she posted her only back-to-back double-digit games at EIU (11) and SIUE (10) in mid-January…recorded career-best five assists on four occasions while appearing in all 30 games as a true freshman…JSU’s backup point guard averaged 14.7 minutes and dished the second-most assists at 54…she scored in all but two conference games in her debut season finishing with 130 points, 54 assists, 40 rebounds, 18 steals and converting 56-of-75 free throws (.747).

HIGH SCHOOL:

Played for coaches Alana Allen, Khalidah Miller and Morgan Jennings at Frederick Douglas High in Atlanta, Ga…a two-time team MVP earned first team all-state honors in 2018 and second-team all-state in 2019…improved her high school team’s record each season culminating in a 27-6 mark and state championship as a senior…named region 6-AA Player of the Year averaging 23 points and five rebounds…also played volleyball and ran track at FDHS where she also earned all-region honors…played club for Georgia Metros and later Finest Basketball Club…chose JSU over College of Charleston, Georgia State and Penn.

PERSONAL:

Born April 6, 2001, in Atlanta, Ga…the daughter of Nekeisha Thompson and Jesse Bailey…has two brothers, Jesse Jr. and Leetayveon, and a sister, Jazmine…plans to study language at JSU.
