Stewart Lee was a three-time All–America third baseman and three-time All-Gulf South Conference team selection. Lee was the most prolific home run hitter in JSU history with 71 over a four-year career from 1985-88. He is the Gamecocks’ all-time hits leader (241), and holds the school's career record for runs batted in (203) and runs scored (209). Lee helped the Gamecocks to a 41-10 record and a perfect 20-0 record at home in 1988 after batting .354 with 18 home runs and 56 RBI as the team claimed the GSC Championship and made the first of four straight trips to the Division II World Series.
