Offensive Line

Former Gamecock All-American Jeremy Sullivan begins his fourth season on Jack Crowe’s staff and his third year coaching the offensive line.

Sullivan coached offensive line units at Jacksonville State have been near the top of the Ohio Valley Conference each year, leading the league in scoring again in 2006.

in 2005 and Gamecocks led the Ohio Valley Conference in rushing for the third straight season. Senior Rod Olds earned All-America honors and signed an NFL contract with the Tennessee Titans to play center.

Sullivan coached the defensive line in 2004 that led the Ohio Valley Conference in rushing defense, allowing just 103.91 yards per game and turnover margin.

Sullivan, who was named an All-American offensive lineman in 2001, has spent two years as a student assistant coach for the Gamecocks, working primarily with the defensive line, before making the move to offensive line for the 2005 season.

The Wagarville, Alabama, native set JSU’s Division I school record with 43 consecutive games started from 1998-2001. He helped anchor an offensive line that led the Southland in rushing in 2001 and finished No. 8 nationally.

Sullivan, 27, earned his B.S. in history from Jax State in 2003. He is married to the former Erika Burns and the couple has one son, Tyler Duane (1).
