Jacksonville State University Baseball will be holding a Summer Showcase Camp at Rudy Abbott Field on August 19th and August 20th. Both camps are open to all High School athletes in the graduating classes of 2006 – 2009. The showcase camp begins at 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and registration begins at 8 a.m. each day.

This camp is unique because it will be divided into two sessions. The first will be an instruction session, followed by an event that will allow the players to showcase their abilities to the JSU coaching staff, junior college coaches and professional scouts that will all be working the camp.

The cost of the camp is just $95 and the camper will receive a $20 discount for the JSU Fall League, which begins in early September.

This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills to the JSU staff, along with other college coaches, and some of the top scouts in the area. On the 2006-2007 Gamecock roster we have 12 former campers that will be on the team this upcoming school year.
