
JSU Football Ranked No. 23 in FCS Polls

Jacksonville State remained ranked for the third straight week in the FCS Top 25 polls, which were released on Monday.
The Gamecocks (4-2) are ranked No. 23 in The Sports Network poll and the FCS Coaches Poll after dropping a 38-35 decision at Eastern Kentucky over the weekend. James Madison is still ranked No. 1 in both polls.
It marks the first time since the 2004 season the Gamecocks have been ranked for three straight weeks in both polls.
Jacksonville State returns to action this Saturday against Murray State for Homecoming. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at Paul Snow Stadium and tickets are available by calling the JSU Athletic Ticket Office at 256-782-8499.
