
JSU Football Climbs in FCS Top 25 Polls

Jacksonville State continues to climb in the two major FCS Top 25 football polls, which were released on Monday.
The Gamecocks (5-2, 3-1 OVC) are ranked No. 20 in the FCS Coaches poll and No. 21 in The Sports Network poll afer claiming a 31-21 win over Murray State last week. James Madison remains No. 1 in both polls.
It marks the fourth straight week JSU has been ranked in both polls after being ranked No. 23 last week in both polls.
Jacksonville State travels to face UT Martin on Thursday in a nationally televised game with the winner remaining in the race for the Ohio Valley Conference Championship. Both teams enter the game with just one OVC loss.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m., from Hardy M. Graham Stadium and will be televised by ESPNU.
