
JSU Football Ranked in Top 25 in Final Polls

Jacksonville State finished 22nd and 23rd in the final Football Championship Subdivision college football polls.
The Gamecocks finished tied for second in the Ohio Valley Conference with an 8-3 overall record after winning its final three game to finish 22nd in the FCS Coaches final poll and 23rd in The Sports Network final poll.
Jax State was one of two Ohio Valley Conference teams to finish in the top 25 of the final rankings. League champion Eastern Kentucky (8-4) was 18th.
Richmond was the unanimous No. 1 after claiming the schools' first-ever National Championship over No. 2 Montana 24-7 in the FCS title game in Chattanooga last week.
