ATLANTA, Ga. – Jacksonville State freshman Bre'Anna Rhodes has been named the ASUN Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Rhodes, a 6-foot forward from Montgomery, Alabama helped the Gamecocks to two wins this week after averaging 9.0 points and 2.5 rebounds per game off the bench.
Rhodes played 15 minutes against Indiana State and scored a career-high 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field. She also grabbed two offensive rebounds and recorded a block in a come-from-behind win.
Following a career performance on Friday, Rhodes added five points on Saturday in a dominating win over South Carolina State.
On the week Rhodes shot 53.3 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the free-throw line.
