Conway, S.C. – The Jacksonville State University Beach Volleyball team dropped a pair of matches in the Coast Carolina Tournament on Saturday against Erskine and Tusculum.
JSU opened the day with a narrow 3-2 defeat to Erskine.
Kylee Quigley and
Claire Ochs earned their first win of the year from the first flight.
Paulina Lindberg and
Brooklyn Schiffli registered their third win of the season in the fourth flight. The freshman duo leads JSU with three wins on the year.
Following the Erskine match JSU once again dropped another tightly-contested match, 3-2, to Tusculum. JSU earned wins in the No. 1 and No. 2 flights. Quigley and Ochs recorded their second win of the season in the first flight while
Erin Carmichael and
Lena Kindermann also added their second win of the year, in the second flight.
JSU continues the Coastal Carolina Tournament Sunday, Mar. 19 against Coastal Carolina at 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.
