JACKSONVILLE - Jacksonville State University is proud to welcome six new stations in three new markets to the Gamecock Radio Network.
 
The newest affiliates include 1380 AM and 107.1 FM in Arab, Alabama, 1570 AM, 95.3 FM, and 94.7 FM in Oneonta and Winfield's 97.7 FM.
 
The new radio affiliates now bring the Gamecock Radio Network and Jax State athletic coverage to 11 stations across eight Alabama cities.
 
"This is the largest number of affiliates we have ever had, and we hope to keep growing," states Bill "Bubba" Bussey, Assistant Athletic Director, and Director of Broadcasting for Jax State.
 
"Mike Parris and Ray Hammett do a great job and really put you in the action. They are fun to listen to on the radio, and they do as good a job as anyone in the country. We are lucky to have them!"

In addition to football, basketball, baseball and other athletic contest coverage. Jax State invites guests to come out to hear "Jax State Live" and "The Coach Rich Rodriguez Show" live on Monday evenings at the Apothecary Draft House on the square in Jacksonville. Host Eli Gold will talk each week with coaches and members of Jax State athletics on Jax State Live from 6:30-7:00 p.m., followed by a visit with head football coach Rich Rodriguez from 7-8:00.
