CLARKSVILLE, TN. – Fresh off a two-match weekend in the Volunteer State, Jacksonville State's beach volleyball team headed back to Tennessee on Monday for a clash with former ASUN and OVC rival Austin Peay.

The Gamecocks (0-7) lost 4-1 in the match, but the pairing of
Luci Wilkinson and
Caty Havekost shined. Wilkinson and Havekost downed Austin Peay's Riley Marshall and Jamie Seward 21-18 in sets one and two to claim the lone point of the day for the Red-and-White.

The duo of
Kiara Amigon and
Morgan McClure totaled the second most points of the day for the Gamecocks with a total of 27.
Brooklyn Schiffli and
Carley Lynch's pairing saw 21 total points scored.

Kathryn Smith and
Ellie Garrett added 21 points as well in their match for Jax State.

The Gamecocks will take on the Governors (8-12) again Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. before a match with the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles at 12:30 p.m.
