Krasner Signs With Jax State

JACKSONVILLE – On Monday, Jacksonville State men's tennis coach Trey Morris announced the addition of Wagner College transfer David Krasner to his squad.

Krasner is from Staten Island, New York. After graduating from high school in 2023, chose to stay in Staten Island with his choice of Wagner to begin his collegiate tennis career.

The addition of Krasner to Jax State helps the Gamecocks load out their roster with more talent. Krasner was a 4-star recruit out of high school and was the number 79 overall recruit according to tennisrecruiting.net for the class of 2023.

Krasner has reached a ranking of #330 in the world according to the International Tennis Federation's pro rankings. He also has a high UTR of 11.98.

In November of 2023, Krasner was awarded the 'Player of the Month' and 'Rookie of the Month' awards by the Northeast Conference during his time with the Seahawks.

"We are very excited to add a player like David to our program," Morris said. "David is a player who is in love with this sport, and it shows up in the quality of his training and in the way that those around David speak about him. I feel his energy is infectious and we can't wait to see it on full display in the red and white this fall."
