JACKSONVILLE—Jacksonville State University will debut a new weekly show on Monday, August 26^th ahead of the 2024 football season opener.
 
"Jax State Live" and "The Rich Rod Show" will air each Monday from 6:30-8 p.m. live from Apothecary Draft House on the square in Jacksonville on WEAC TV 24 and will stream on the TV24 app. WLJS 91.9 FM will also carry the show.
  
Hall of Fame sportscaster Eli Gold will serve as the host of the program each week and will open with 30 minutes of Jax State athletics previews and recaps before the hour-long segment with football coach Rich Rodriguez.
 
Gamecocks' Bowling coach Shannon O'Keefe will be the guest on Jax State Live on Monday, recapping the first season of bowling at JSU which resulted in a national championship.
 
Apothecary will also serve as the official away game watch party location during the season, showing Jax State road games on all TVs. The tap wall will be discounted 50% for five minutes after each Jax State touchdown during the watch party.
