Webb Named to FWAA All-America Team

DALLAS—Jacksonville State senior guard Clay Webb was named to the Football Writers Association of America All-America Second Team.
Webb, a two-time All-Conference USA selection was also named to the HERO Sports Group of Five All-America team as well.
The Oxford native helped clear the way for the No. 2 rushing attack in FBS football this season and allowed just one sack in 915 snaps at left guard this season. According to Pro Football Focus, Webb graded out at 82.2 as a run blocker and 81.5 overall.
Jax State finished the season with a 9-5 record and were Conference USA Champions in its first year eligible to play in the league championship.
