JACKSONVILLE—Jax State guard Clay Webb has received another opportunity to display his talents to NFL personnel.
The Oxford native was one of 329 prospects invited to the annual NFL Combine which will be held February 24-March 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Each year, the Combine brings in top executives, coaching staffs, player personnel departments, and medical departments from all 32 teams to evaluate the nation's top prospects which are eligible for the draft.
Prospects participate in a variety of interviews, tests, drills, and media sessions over the four-day span for each position group.
Webb was one of just two Conference USA players invited after earning all-conference honors and All-American honors for the second year in a row. He also participated in the Hula Bowl as well as the Reese's Senior Bowl, giving him the opportunity to go through multiple workouts in front of pro scouts.
Coverage of the on-field drills will be available on the NFL Network.
