JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – AmFirst Stadium will shine brighter than ever this fall with the installation of a brand-new Musco TLC-LED-1500 Luminaire system, bringing state-of-the-art lighting technology to the home of Jax State football just in time for the 2025 season.

Musco, a global leader in sports and large-area lighting for more than 50 years, has outfitted Burgess-Snow Field with its premier system designed to enhance visibility, improve energy efficiency, and create an unforgettable game day environment.

"We are excited to debut our new Musco LED lighting system this season at Burgess-Snow Field," said Greg Seitz, Vice President for Athletics. "These state-of-the-art colored lights will enhance the game day atmosphere for our fans, create an unforgettable experience for our student-athletes, and showcase Jax State football on a first-class stage."

The upgrade replaces the lighting system that had been in place since 2010, giving AmFirst Stadium a dramatic new look and feel.

The installation also includes Show-Light Pro Venue® Special Effects, featuring custom-programmed light shows synchronized with music and theatrical effects. The technology allows for dynamic celebrations and pregame presentations, adding a new level of excitement to the Gamecock game day tradition.

Fans will get their first opportunity to experience the new lighting system when the Gamecocks host Liberty on Saturday, September 6 in Jax State's 2025 home opener at AmFirst Stadium.
