Gamecocks Continue to Perform at Samford Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Jacksonville State men's tennis put together another productive day Saturday at the Samford Invitational, earning six singles victories against Lipscomb University and taking two doubles courts from Kennesaw State.

The Gamecocks won six of eight singles matches against Lipscomb, with victories coming from David Krasner at No. 1, Marko Milosavljevic at No. 2, Aman Dahiya at No. 3, Zach Murphy at No. 4, Ilie Cazac at No. 5 and Joao Barreto at No. 7.

Jax State also continued its strong doubles play, taking two courts against Kennesaw State. The No. 1 pairing of Murphy and Milosavljevic picked up a victory, while Krasner and Dahiya earned the win at No. 2.

The three-day event concludes on Sunday with the Gamecocks opening doubles play against Lipscomb at noon before finishing the weekend with singles against the hosting Samford Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m.
