Biography
JSU CAREER: 2013: Played in 11 tournaments for the Gamecocks in 2013…averaged 74.36 strokes per round while playing in 30 rounds…shot a low round of 67 at the Blue Raider Invitational and finished par or better three times on the season…won the Chris Banister Golf Classic in her first tournament at JSU.
PRIOR TO JSU: Played golf at Oakland University under head coach Russ Cunningham prior to transferring to JSU.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played golf at Fallingbrook Elementary and Sinclair Secondary School...helped her team win the regional championship her sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
PERSONAL: Full name is Maya Michelle Murano Parsons…daughter of Brian and Annick Parsons…born on July 3, 1993…majoring in business marketing at JSU.
