JSU CAREER: Fall 2021: Appeared in all 11 games on his way to collecting his first career all-conference honor after a stellar season for the Gamecocks…playing every linebacker position, finished second on the team in tackles with 68 and tied for the team lead with 6.5 tackles for a loss…recorded a career-best 13 tackles against Stephen F. Austin on Oct. 9…also recovered a fumble in the season-opener versus UAB and had a sack against Central Arkansas.
Fall 2020/Spring 2021: Appeared in all 13 games while starting the last five contests of the spring season...recorded 44 tackles for the year, with 16 unassisted stops and 3.5 tackles for loss...had a career day on May 2 in the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs against Delaware where he had eight tackles, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup... made his first career sack for four yards lost in the upset victory over Florida International on October 23...forced his first career fumble against Mercer on October 10 and recovered a fumble against Tennessee Tech on February 28.
2019: Appeared in all 12 games of his second year at linebacker...recorded 14 tackles, five of them being solo, along with an assisted tackle for a loss of 2 yards...made his first career fumble recovery against North Alabama on Sept. 21.
2018: Made appearances in 10 games in his first full year at Linebacker for JSU... His career high day came with his first set of tackles as he recorded 2, 1 unassisted and 1 with assistance... He finished the year with four tackles including two unassisted and two with assistance and picked up a quarterback hurry against Mississippi Valley State on Sept. 8 as well.
2017: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Ashford High School…named ASWA Class 4A All-State honorable mention at running back…also played basketball.
PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 4, 1999, in Dothan, Ala…majoring in exercise science and wellness at JSU.
