Played his first two years for Peach County High School in Fort Valley, Ga., before moving to First Presbyterian Day School for his final two seasons…played for head coach Michael Brooker at First Presbyterian Day School…as a senior for the Vikings, averaged 24 points and six rebounds per game to earn second team all-state and first team all-region honors…was named an Athletic Scholar and a member of the All-Offensive Team…set school records for points in a game with 40 in his junior season and for 3-point field goals in a season with 85…averaged 22 points over his career.

Born on Oct. 31, 1995, in Clovis, N.M…the son of Terry, Sr. and Chantelle Sams…has a younger brother, Jeremy…plans to major in computer science at JSU.
