Prior to Jax State: Featured in 11 games during her first collegiate season for UCF in 2025-26…scored her lone points of the campaign against Morgan State on Dec. 14…stepped up during the home stretch of Big 12 play, garnering playing time in four-straight games throughout Feb…grabbed a season-high three rebounds against South Carolina State on Nov. 24.
Prep: Hänsel spent the last three years in Luleå, a national basketball high school in Sweden before joining UCF…Hänsel appeared in 18 games for RIG Luleå in the Basketettan Women’s league during the 2024–25 season, averaging 20.6 minutes per contest, while posting 11.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.2 steals per game…her season was highlighted by a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double against BG Luleå on January 27, 2025, where she shot 7-of-11 from the field and added four assists…the 6-foot-2 forward also competed internationally, representing Sweden at the 2024 FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket Division B tournament…she appeared in four games, gaining valuable experience against Europe’s top competition…she consistently improved her production year over year, averaging 7.3 points and 5.9 rebounds in 2022–23 before boosting those numbers to 11.6 points and 6.3 rebounds this past season.
