Evan Allen joins Jax State Cross Country and Track & Field as a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 season after being a student-athlete with the Gamecocks in the 2025-26 season.
A cross country runner from Henderson, Tenn., Allen spent his final collegiate season in Jacksonville where he competed in six cross country meets, highlighted by an 18th place finish at the 2025 Conference USA Cross Country Championships. Additionally, Allen competed in three track and field meets during the 2026 season as well.
Prior to his time in Jacksonville, Allen had stints with Lipscomb and North Alabama as well. With the Lions, Allen was the winner of five cross country meets, including the Murray State 2021 Racer Open (8k), the Martin Methodist Red Hawk Invitational, the 2022 Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays, the Lion Opener and the UNA Invitational.
