Craig Holman was one of the most successful pitchers in the storied history of Gamecock baseball.  He was a four-year lettermen that helped Jax State to four straight World Series appearances from 1988-1991 and he was a member of the 1990 and 1991 NCAA Division II National Championship teams. The Gamecocks posted incredible record of 164-45 during that span for a .785 winning percentage. As a sophomore, Holman was an All-American selection in 1989 after setting a single-season school record with 12 wins and those 12 consecutive wins was also a Gamecock record. As a junior in 1990, he set the school record for the best win-loss percentage after posting a perfect 8-0 mark. His senior campaign, the right-hander finished with a 10-3 mark with 87 strikeouts. His 32 career wins is tops on the Gamecock career pitching leaders and he finished fourth with 249.1 career innings pitched. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1991 Major League Baseball Draft.
