JACKSONVILLE – Tuesday night's baseball contest against Alabama A&M at Rudy Abbott Field has been canceled due to heavy rains that moved through the Jacksonville area during the late afternoon.

A make up date has not been set between the two in-state rivals.

The Gamecocks return to the diamond on Thursday, April 2 as they return to Ohio Valley Conference action against the Racers of Murray State.  The three-game series will start at 6 p.m. on Thursday and the contest will be the first one under the lights at Reagan Field in Murray, Kentucky. 

All three games will be available on the Gamecock Sports Network.  The opening game of the series will be streamed live on the OVC Digital Network.
