JACKSONVILLE – The weather continues to play havoc with the 2015 Jacksonville State schedule as Wednesday's road contest at Samford has been postponed due to the lingering wet conditions and impending forecast for Tuesday night.

The Gamecocks and Bulldogs were scheduled to duel at Joe Lee Griffin Field in Birmingham, but the in-state contest has been pushed back to Wednesday, March 25.  First pitch is set for 6 p.m.

JSU (6-3) on the season has yet to play a midweek contest this season and will open the Ohio Valley Conference slate this weekend, hosting SIU Edwardsville in a three-game series at Rudy Abbott Field.  Friday's opener is set for 6 p.m., followed by 1 p.m. start times on Saturday and Sunday.  All three games will be available on the Gamecock Sports Network, while Friday's series opener and the Saturday game will be streamed live on the OVC Digital Network.
