WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Jacksonville State men's basketball team puts the wraps on it's three-game road trip Wednesday night with a matchup against Howard University at 6 p.m. CT.
The Gamecocks look to bounce back from a Monday loss to Maryland at the XFINITY Center to cap off their final multi-day, non-conference tour. JSU's loss to the Big Ten powerhouse put it under .500 since it began the Global Sports Classic in Las Vegas, Nev.
Jacksonville State and the Bison will meet for the first time on the hardwood.
Howard enters the contest with a deceiving 1-7 record. Four of its losses came against Michigan, Georgetown, Maryland and George Washington. The Bison's lone win of the year came with a 71-54 victory over American University.
