JSU Faces Bellarmine Sunday in Final Road Contest of the Season

LOUISVILLE – The Jacksonville State Women's basketball team closes out the road portion of the regular season against Bellarmine on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Freedom Hall.

The contest marks the second all-time meeting between the two programs. JSU defeated the Knights 72-63 last time out as the squad finished just one shy of the program record for three-pointers in single game with 15. Imari Martin led the way with 22 points and tied her career-high with six threes.

JSU enters the matchup 19-6 overall and 10-3 in ASUN play, coming off a 63-52 win over Lipscomb last time out. JSU clinched a first-round bye in the ASUN tournament with the win over Lipscomb and can win the ASUN West Division Championship with a win over Bellarmine on Sunday. A win Sunday would also set the D-I era single-season wins record with JSU's 20th win of the season.

The game will be streamed live on ESPN+. Fans can follow live stats at JSUGamecocksports.com and listen to the game with Mike Parris on the JSU Gamecock Sports Network.

Imari Martin leads JSU on the offensive end this season with 11.6 points per game as the Gamecocks are the third-ranked scoring offense in the ASUN at 67.7 points per game.

Jaela Johnson leads Bellarmine with 12.2 points per game but did not play in the first meeting against JSU.
