JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville State softball team will begin ASUN Divisional play on Saturday, when the Gamecocks begin a three-game series against an old rival in Eastern Kentucky at University Field.
The Gamecocks (20-15, 4-5 ASUN) will host the Colonels (7-25, 3-6 ASUN) for the three-game series that will begin with a 1 pm doubleheader on Saturday and will conclude with a 1 pm single game on Sunday. All three games will be broadcast on ESPN+, and admission is free for JSU students and all fans ages 18 and under.
JSU enters the weekend in a four-way tie for first place in the ASUN West Division with North Alabama, Central Arkansas and Lipscomb, but EKU is just one game out of first as division play gets underway.
