ATLANTA, Ga. – The ASUN Conference announced the 2023 conference baseball schedule on Wednesday as the league adopted a new 30-game slate for the season.

After playing division opponents in home-and-home weekend series, each of the schools will play 10 of the ASUN programs throughout the season. Each team will have five home series and five weekends on the road.



The Gamecocks will open the 2023 ASUN slate with newcomer Queens, a rising NCAA Division I program based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Royals will visit Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium on March 17-19. JSU's docket is set up with it being at home every other weekend. Jax State's four other home conference weekends include Kennesaw State (March 31-April 2), Jacksonville (April 14-16, North Alabama (April 28-30) and Central Arkansas (May 12-15).

JSU will visit Bellarmine (March 24-26), North Florida (April6-8), Florida Gulf Coast (April 21-23), Liberty (May 5-7) and closes out the season with Lipscomb (May 18-20). The trip to Jacksonville to face North Florida will begin on Thursday due to the Easter holiday. The final series of the season with the Bisons in Nashville will start on a Thursday in advance of the 2023 ASUN Baseball Championship beginning on May 23.

The ASUN Baseball Championship will be held on the campus of Stetson University in DeLand, Fla.
