JACKSONVILLE –Jacksonville State's 2024 baseball schedule is now complete.
The new year features 27 home games on Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium as part of the 52-game slate for Jax State. Highlighting the schedule under first-year head coach Steve Bieser will be a weekend series against Big Ten foe Iowa at home during the month of March. The Bieser era will get started with a season-opening home set against the Tigers of Memphis that begins on Friday, February 16 in Jacksonville.
Jax State will face in-state foe South Alabama in a three-game set in Mobile (Feb. 23-25), along with a visit by Mid-American Conference foe Kent State (March 1-3). The Gamecocks will travel to Carbondale, Illinois for the final non-conference series against the Salukis of Southern Illinois (March 15-17).

The Gamecocks' non-conference slate also includes a pair of dates with rivals UAB, Samford, Alabama State and Troy. For the 2024 season, Jax State will face future Conference USA member Kennesaw State in a home-and-home set. The Panthers of Georgia State will make the trip from Atlanta to Jacksonville for a midweek test. Jax State will travel to Southeastern Conference foes Alabama on March 5 and to Auburn on March 26.
Jax State will open its first CUSA schedule on the road against Louisiana Tech (March 22-24) before hosting Western Kentucky (March 29-31) in its first CUSA series on Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium. The eight-weekend conference campaign will have FIU (April 3-5), New Mexico State (April 26-28) and Middle Tennessee (May 10-12) visit Jax State.
Bieser's club will travel to Liberty (April 12-14) for a second-consecutive season, baseball-only CUSA member, Dallas Baptist (May 3-5) and Sam Houston State to close out the regular season (May 16-18)
The CUSA Baseball Championship will be held on the campus of LA Tech in Ruston, Louisiana on May 22-26.
