JACKSONVILLE – Jacksonville State women's basketball is set for a home matchup against College of Charleston on Wednesday, Dec. 11. The Gamecocks are coming off their second straight road loss in a 44-55 final at Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Dec. 7. The Cougars are coming off an 86-45 road win at Charleston Southern on Tuesday, Dec. 3.

The Gamecocks recently lost at Coastal Carolina 44-55. Poor shooting, particularly from three-point range, doomed Jax State against the Chanticleers as they made only 2-24 attempts. Jax State also only made 27.9% field goals. Meanwhile, the Cougars were shape in their recent victory over Charleston Southern as they made 48.5% of their field goals and made 47.8% of their threes.
