JACKSONVILLE – Due to the weather forecast for the Atlanta area on Tuesday night, Jacksonville State's baseball contest with Kennesaw State has been canceled.

The second of two games with the Owls this season will not be made up as both teams will turn their attention to the final weekend of conference play that begins Thursday.

Jax State will make a second trip to the state of Texas to conclude the regular season with a visit to Huntsville, Texas. The Gamecocks will face the Bearkats of Sam Houston in the final three Conference USA regular season games. The series begins at 6:30 p.m. at SHSU's Don Sanders Stadium.

The three-game series will be carried on the Gamecock Sports Network.
