Women’s Golf Heads to East Carolina

JACKSONVILLE—The women's golf team heads to Greenville Country Club this weekend to participate in the Pirate Collegiate Classic starting on Monday.
The Gamecocks have registered back-to-back third place finishes in their last two tournaments and are coming off an idle week after playing two tournaments in one week.
On September 10th, Jax State was third in the field at Kansas State's Powercat Classic, then at the end of the week was third at Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational. Emilie Clausen posted 12 birdies between the two tournaments and Lara El Chaib had five birdies and an eagle during play at Penn State.
The tournament begins on Monday with 36 holes on the Par 72 course which covers 5,991 yards.
Joining the Gamecocks in the field will be West Georgia, Barton, William & Mary, High Point, Memphis, Richmond, UNC Greensboro, North Carolina A&T, Troy, Gardner Webb, Radford, Longwood, Wofford, and Maryland-Eastern Shore, along with the host East Carolina.
Jax State will be paired with the hosts and UNC Greensboro in the first two rounds and will tee off starting at 8:21 a.m. through 8:47 a.m.
