
Women’s Golf Takes on Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate

The second tournament of the season for the Jax State women's golf team starts Sunday at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn. at the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate.
Hosted by the University of Tennessee, the field features 12 teams that will play 54 holes over three days.
Jax State opened the season at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic in Colorado against the deepest regular season field its ever faced and took 18th. Freshman Julie Kleppe fired her first collegiate round under par in the final round with a 71.
The Gamecocks will see three other Conference USA teams in the field in FIU, WKU, and Middle Tennessee. TCU headlines the field, finishing last season 14th in the Clippd rankings followed by the host Volunteers at 31st.
