
Women's Basketball Set to Face FIU on Senior Day

JACKSONVILLE – Women's basketball looks to bounce back Saturday against Florida International after a 71-55 loss to Liberty on Thursday. Prior to the game Saturday, Jax State's five seniors, Asia Barclay, Mya Barnes, Bre'Anna Rhodes, Elsie Harris, and Shaquice May will be honored for senior day.

The Gamecocks dropped a home game to Liberty on Thursday in a 71-55 final. Maria Sanchez Ponce led the way for the Gamecocks with 14 points and eight rebounds in her first game back after missing two to injury last week. Clara Gonzalez Planella had third straight double-digit game against the Flames with 10 points.
