Beach Volleyball Falls 5-0 at Berry to Open the Season

MOUNT BERRY, GA. – Jacksonville State Beach Volleyball lost their first match of the season at Berry College Wednesday. Berry took down the Gamecocks in a 5-0 sweep.

The Vikings defeated the Gamecocks in a clean sweep. Jax State's Ellie Garrett and Madison Konopka were the only pair to win a set. Garrett and Konopka won the second set against Grace Mau and Kat Kelyman 21-19.

2. Sabine Rudolph and Ailee England (BC) defeated Luci Wilkinson and Hana Aiana (JSU) 21-16, 21-10
3. Kara Schmit and Madie Whitehead (BC) defeated Carley Lynch and Caty Havekost (JSU) 21-13, 21-12
4. Grace Mau and Kat Kelyman (BC) defeated Madison Konopka and Ellie Garrett (JSU) 21-8, 19-21, 15-12
5. Lilly Teagle and Andrea Hurt (BC) defeated Ellie Fox and Amaya Tolentino (JSU) 21-16, 21-11

Beach is back in action Thursday at Emmanuel College.
