Beach Heads to Wingate University's Tournament This Weekend

WINGATE, N.C. – Jacksonville State Beach Volleyball heads to North Carolina Friday and Saturday for a pair of matches at Wingate University.
The Gamecocks take on Wingate Friday at 4 p.m. central. The Red-and-White then face Lynchburg at Wingate on Saturday at 8 a.m. central.
The Gamecocks are coming off a 5-0 loss at Berry College Wednesday. Prior to the matches at Wingate, Jax State heads to Emmanuel University on Thursday at 3 p.m. central. Ellie Garrett and Madison Konopka teamed up for the lone set victory at Berry on Wednesday.
Wingate is 5-13 on the season. Most recently, the Bulldogs split two matches on Wednesday against Catawba. The Bulldogs defeated Catawba 3-2 in a 12 p.m. central match Wednesday before falling 3-2 at 2 p.m.
Lynchburg is 5-5 this Spring on the sand. The Hornets recently fell 5-0 at Tusculum on Tuesday. They will take on Salem College on Friday before taking on Jax State Saturday.
