Beach Volleyball Opens 2025 Season in Georgia

MOUNT BERRY, GA. – Jacksonville State's beach volleyball team begins the 2025 season in Georgia. The Gamecocks take on Berry College on Wednesday and Emmanuel University on Thursday.

The Gamecocks return plenty of players from last season's beach volleyball squad including Brooklyn Schiffli, Carley Lynch, Madison Konopka, Luci Wilkinson, Selin Sakiroglu, Ellie Garrett, Caty Havekost, and Hana Aiana.

Jax State has added D'Yanna Spicer, Sanni Rantanen, Izzy Whittaker, Chloe Mittelstadt, Amaya Tolentino, Kayla Williams, and Ellie Fox.

Berry College is 10-3 on the season. Berry is currently riding a four-match winning streak including back-to-back 5-0 wins over Sandhills Community College and Florida State College at Jacksonville.

Emmanuel College is currently 5-4 on the season. Most recently, Emmanuel took down Lake Sumter Community College 4-1 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
