Men's Tennis Hosts KSU and UAB to Conclude the Season

JACKSONVILLE – Jax State men's tennis wraps up the 2025 regular season with a pair of home matches on Friday and Saturday. The Gamecocks take on Kennesaw State at 11 a.m. Friday with senior day presentations prior to the match. The regular season concludes with a matchup against UAB on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Gamecocks have a 10-6 record on the season and are currently riding a four-match winning streak including wins over Wallace State-Hanceville, Furman, Presbyterian, and Georgia State. Kennesaw is 7-8 on the year and are coming off a 5-2 victory over Alabama State. UAB is 8-11 and have won back-to-back matches over Furman and Alabama A&M.
Jax State has a 51-32 overall record in singles play this season. They are led by David Krasner at 10-3. Krasner is followed closely by Matei Palcau who is 9-3. Other impressive performers include Marko Milosavljevic at 8-4, Alin Fatu at 6-4, Charlie Penman at 6-6, Aman Dahiya at 4-3, Timo De Visser at 6-7, and Zach Murphy at 2-2.
In doubles, the Gamecocks are 24-15 and have been led all year by the duo of Murphy and Lucius Soller who are 11-2 together. De Visser and Logan Haga are 6-3 together, De Visser and Penman are 3-1, Milosavljevic and Krasner are 4-5, and no other doubles team has a win this year for the Red-and-White.
Kennesaw is led by a pair of seniors in Sam Baldwin and Hugo Salmeron. Their roster is rounded out by Anthony Weingarten, Mikolaj Lis, Kyvan Rietkerk, Erik Vladimirov, and Xavi Ferrer.
Meanwhile, UAB is 40-57 in singles tis year and is led by Noah Malige and Conor Flynn. Malige is 10-7, while Flynn is 10-7, respectively. Juan Pablo Valdez is 7-5, Ondrej Valek is 7-9, Georgios Nouchakis is 3-9, Hoan Mouret is 3-11, and Jake Anthony is 0-10.
In doubles, the Blazers are 21-23 overall and led by Valek and Malige who are 9-5. Nouchakis and Valdez are 4-4, Mouret and Anthony are 2-1, Flynn and Mouret are 3-7, Flynn and Valek are 1-0, Anthony and Valek are 1-1, Anthony and Valdez are 1-2, and there are two pairings without a victory this season.
Along with senior day on Friday, Jax State's Student Athlete Day Celebration is Friday as well.
Following the matches against Kennesaw and UAB, the Gamecocks head to Lynchburg, Va., for the 2025 CUSA Championship Tournament on April 17-20.
