LOUISVILLE - Jax State sophomore Emma Elrod was named National Fastpitch Coaches Association Second Team All South Region following her outstanding 2025 campaign with the Gamecocks. Elrod was also named First Team All-CUSA this season and earned CUSA All-Tournament Team honors this past weekend.

Elrod finished her 2025 season ranking among the top 20 in Jax State's program single season record books in hits, doubles, batting average, home runs, RBI's, slugging percentage, at bats, runs and stolen bases.

She led the team in each of those offensive categories this season, with her 55 runs being the fifth most by a player in program history and her 15 home runs being the sixth most in program history.

Elrod finished her season ranked 15^th in all of NCAA Division I softball in hits and 21^st in doubles.
