JACKSONVILLE—The top-ranked Jax State bowling team will be the top seed in the 2026 NCAA National Collegiate Bowling Championship.
The 19-team championship bracket was released Wednesday afternoon.
Jax State will travel to Lansing, Mich. and will face the winner of an opening round match between Carroll (Wisc.) and Fayetteville State on Friday, April 3 at 8 a.m. Central Time at the Royal Scot Golf and Bowl. Youngstown State and North Carolina A&T are on the other side of the double elimination mega match format bracket.
This is the third consecutive National Collegiate Bowling Championship appearance for the Gamecocks after winning the 2026 Conference USA Championship. In the first two seasons of bowling at Jax State, the Gamecocks have won the Pittsburgh Regional in 2024 and the Arlington Regional in 2025.
The winner of each regional will advance to the NC Bowling Championship April 10-11 in Parma Heights, Ohio.
