
Men's Tennis Returns to Action at Alabama State Friday

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The No. 73 ranked Jax State men's tennis squad heads to Alabama State Friday to take on the Hornets. Jax State is fresh off a 4-2 win at UAB on March 18.
On March 17, the Gamecocks entered the ITA Rankings for their highest ever ranking after a 4-0 week against Tennessee State, Chattanooga, North Alabama, and Georgia State. In the win at UAB on March 18, Aman Dahiya clinched the win with a 7-5, 6-2 triumph over Conor Flynn on court three.
Jax State is 14-2 on the season to this point.
In singles this season, Jax State has a 59-19 record as a team. The Gamecocks are led by David Krasner who holds a 12-2 mark in singles action. Dahiya is 10-5, while Timo De Visser is 10-1 this season. Other top performers include Alin Fatu at 8-1, Marko Milosavljevic at 7-1, Zach Murphy at 3-1, and Lucius Soller at 2-0. Charlie Penman is 6-6 and Matei Palcau is 1-2, respectively.
Meanwhile in doubles, the Gamecocks are 26-12 overall. Krasner and Soller both have nine wins as Krasner holds a 9-3 doubles record and Soller is 9-4. Fatu is 8-2 on the year, while Penman is 7-2. Murphy is 4-2, Palcau is 2-0, De Visser is 5-4, and Dahiya is 4-5. The top doubles team of the season is the pairing of Fatu and Penman at 6-2.
Alabama State is led by Loris Gueli in singles with a 6-3 record, while Eloi Roux and Milan Ristov are tied for a team-best 9-2 doubles record.
Following the match at Alabama State, Jax State returns to their home courts on Sunday, March 29, for a 10 a.m. first-serve.
