JACKSONVILLE—On the eve of the 2026 Air National Guard Conference USA Men's Basketball Tournament, the league announced its postseason awards for the season.
 
Jax State had seniors Mostapha El Moutaouakkil and AC Bryant honored by the league for their performance during the 2025-26 season.
 
El Moutaouakkil was selected as the Newcomer of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference USA honors. The native of Rabat, Morocco finished as the league's leading scorer by a full point per game at 19.4.
 
In his first year with the Gamecocks after transferring from Louisiana, El Moutaouakkil averaged 19.9 points per game in Conference USA play, had five double-doubles, 26 games in double figures and 13 with 20 or more points which includes each of his last six games.
 
Bryant was named Honorable Mention All-Conference USA after averaging 11.9 points per game and shooting 39.5% from 3-point land. The Shreveport, La. native connected on 85 3-pointers, which was third-most in the league and converted nearly three per game.
 
Jax State will take on New Mexico State tomorrow at 8 p.m. in the first round of the Air National Guard Conference USA Championship.
