Colleges and universities across the country are proud to recognize Student-Athlete Day, a celebration of the hard work and resilience of student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically.

The annual observance of Student-Athlete Day is April 6. This day highlights the unique balance student-athletes maintain as they pursue rigorous academic goals while competing at a high level in their various sports. Student-Athlete Day also serves as an opportunity to acknowledge the support systems that contribute to their success, including coaches, academic advisors, faculty, staff, families, and Gamecock fans. Together, these networks help student-athletes excel in environments that demand physical and intellectual growth.

As we celebrate Student Athlete Day, Jax State commends all student athletes for their dedication and the positive example they set for their peers and Jax State.
